Data Replication Engine

The Data Replication Engine tracks all changes to a source database in real-time, and can populate secondary target databases.

The target databases can be either another identical CISAM structure as in the case of its use for disaster recovery, or an ODBC compliant database such as Microsoft SQL Server that can then be used to provide a degree of reporting or data analysis.

Text Over Image

Text Over Image merges a predefined form together with the required text to produce a document onto plain A4 paper either on a laser or inkjet printer.

Text Over Image is the perfect solution to eliminate the problems that arise with pre-printed stationery, such as changes to company telephone or fax numbers, or logos.

Using the TOI Form Designer, the customer can adapt the form layout to match their precise requirements.

Multiple copies can be produced with each sheet individually identified with additional text such as “FILE COPY” or “ACCOUNTS COPY”, etc.

PrintDesk

PrintDesk allows the storage of application-generated reports to be archived on the server for retrieval at a later date via a web browser.

Although designed to make a history of reports available to internal users, the storage structure allows your remote customers or suppliers to access information relevant to themselves, and then choose whether to have the details emailed of faxed to them.

ImageDesk

ImageDesk offers the ability to scan in paper documents, such as Purchase Orders, Goods Received Notes, etc. and then link them to the relevant entries on the system.

Rubicon’s Navigator software can then be used to retrieve the appropriate document from the archive in the event of a later query.

Report Scheduler

Instead of running the same report repeatedly with the same parameters every time, the Report Scheduler allows the user to configure these details and then schedule the execution of the report.  The resultant output can be emailed, faxed or stored within PrintDesk.

RM Printing

Usually supermarket packaging and box-end labels are generated by a stand-alone system.

The RM Printing system integrates directly with the Rubicon ERP system, allowing it to dynamically pull information such as product, pricing, date and promotional data, together with the appropriate label formats, to produce the labels when required, which also reduces the margin for human error.

Third Party Hardware Products

RDTs (Radio Data Terminals)

These are used primarily in warehouse environments to allow the system to track the stock through the various stages between its arrival and its despatch.

The RDTs link to the Rubicon application server in real-time, and run specific Rubicon RDT modules which provide a functional subset of Stock Movement transactions and Enquiries, Works Orders and QC.

The RDTs are driven by barcode technology which eliminates keying errors and speeds up transaction processing.

Touchscreens

Aimed at usage within stock holding and production environments, the touchscreens can be either desktop mounted or pedestal models.

They run specific software purely for the tasks required, which therefore offer a simple interface to the application for the users.

Additionally, the touchscreens can be equipped with wireless lan cards so that they can be moved easily, but network connectivity maintained, and other devices such as a keyboard wedge barcode scanner.

Label Printers

A variety of Zebra and Printronix printers are used to produce labels for general packhouse usage (stock tracking with the RDTs), Firewing, or RM Printing.

Zetafax

Despite the fast moving world of email, faxing is still widely used, and therefore we choose to interface to Zetafax from our application to allow you to be able to fax a variety of information to your customers and suppliers.

Transoft U/SQL

U/SQL is a client-server application.  The server side allows incoming ODBC calls to interrogate the data.  The client side allows ODBC aware software such as Microsoft Access or Query, to retrieve information from the U/SQL Server.

Business Objects Crystal Reports

Crystal Reports allows the customer to design and run their own reports that retrieve data using the U/SQL client.

Panorama Novaview

The Novaview BI Platform allows companies to rapidly deploy analytical and reporting solutions.

Novaview provides access to data from any source and is optimised for Microsoft Analysis Services and Microsoft Office systems.

Panorama is the original developer of the OLAP server technology that is now Microsoft Analysis Services.
